The Resusci Anne QCPR has a realistic anatomy and meets all guidelines. This allows the participant to experience the correct resistance during chest compressions, see the chest rise and fall during ventilation, and practice performing head tilt and chin lift to ensure a patent airway. The ventilation system provides correct chest rise during both bag-mask ventilation (BVM) and mouth-to-mouth ventilation (MTM).

The three included chest springs (soft, standard, hard) allow for simulation of different body types within the normal range of compression force (30–60 kg) required to reach a depth that meets the guidelines.
