ZOLL CHILD ELECTRODES

Zoll's Pedi-padz II are made to be used on children up to 8 years old or 25 kg.

When these are installed, the energy level of the electric shock is adjusted and all instructions given are specifically adapted for children.
The electrodes are clearly differentiated with a round one on the chest and a square one on the back, for faster application. The electrodes are cleverly connected as one electrode and can be pre-installed in the defibrillator, which also provides feedback on your CPR.

CPR feedback
Inadequate compression rate and depth are common in CPR. Adults need at least 100 compressions per minute and a compression depth of at least 5 cm. Compressions must be performed correctly to effectively transport blood and oxygen.

The AED Plus pads help you push hard enough and maintain the right pace by saying “Push harder” or “Good compressions” when needed. It also shows the depth of the compressions on the AED display.
