Fire extinguishers with carbon dioxide (CO2) as the extinguishing agent are designed to extinguish fires in liquids, gases and electronic equipment. Since carbon dioxide extinguishers provide a very clean extinguishing effect, these extinguishers are well suited for kitchens, switchgear, laboratories, precision engineering and electrical equipment. This type of extinguisher can also withstand temperatures below freezing and can therefore be placed indoors as well as outdoors.

Carbon dioxide extinguishers from Presto are equipped with a shut-off valve and are pressure-charged. This means that the extinguishing agent is released as soon as the safety pin is pulled out and the handle is pressed down.
